Announcements

Just a reminder: For any event taking place in this church there must be a “Property Request Form” filled out and it must be cleared by the Church Council before it is put on the calendar. Thank you for your cooperation.

Attention EAFUMC Members,

The Care Team Is In Need Of Visit People!

Part of our Caring Mission is to provide visits to the homebound, hospitalized, nursing home and assisted living residents and ill. We are recruiting anyone in the church who would like to make visits. The visits are our way of showing those in need that their church family cares and supports them. If you would like to make visits please contact either Carole Rosenthal #259-5019 or Amy Bohn, Parish Nurse #798-1979 or Elaine, Church Secretary #259-1306.

P.S. You can make visits either individually or you can request to go with another care team member on visits.

Thanks So Much- Parish Nurse Amy Bohn

GRADUATES

If you are graduating or know anyone who is graduating in May or June, please inform the church office. We need a picture of the graduate, and the school and degree information. Thanks.

HELP NEEDED! Susan Wilson could use an assistant in the elementary class just to help out as the number she has each Sunday tends to fluctuate. The Sunday School classes are indeed making a difference in the life of this church! Thank you all for what you are doing! Remember our goal for 2011 is 50 more attending Sunday School! "The harvest is great, but the workers are few."

TRANSPORTATION TO CHURCH

Transportation is available to anyone who needs a ride to Sunday school, worship services, or church events. Call the church office during office hours to let us know. (259-1306)

Celebrating 50 years of Building: 1961-2011

"Building Faith; Building Fellowship"

Please mark your calendar for October 23, 2011, and save this date! It will be a day of celebration of the 50th anniversary of our building and the 25th anniversary of the sanctuary. A special worship service, gourmet catered meal, and entertainment are being planned! Former and current members and friends are invited. Lunch tickets will be available at a later date. Past members, friends, and ministers will be invited. Contact Lucy Kruse for any you feel should be invited, so that name may be added to mailing list. There are bulletin board displays in Fellowship Hall now through September focusing on each of the five decades from 1961 to 2011. This month is the 1960's. If you have any photos to share, please submit to Jerry Peel.
